GOLD RUSH

Saturday, August 8 – Monday, August 10, 2026

This year’s Gold Rush ride destination is John Day, OR. No sign-up necessary and no ride fees. Just show up at Huckleberry Inn in Government Camp and you are entered in the weekend of shenanigans. Route maps and additional info will be provided at Meet Up.

Ride Breakdown

Saturday:

  • Meet at Huckleberry Inn in Government Camp, OR at 9:00am (Arrive earlier if you want to grab breakfast)

  • Riders Meeting 9:45am

  • Ride Leaves 10:00am. Destination - John Day, OR

Sunday:

  • (4) day ride options on pavement

  • (1) day ride option for dual sport

  • Swimming, food and beverages at Magone Lake in afternoon / early evening

Monday:

  • Ride back to Portland. Different route, same fun.

Lodging

  • The John Day Motel

  • The Dreamers Motel

  • Camp at the Grant County Fairgrounds. There are with restrooms and showers for $10/night
